How it works

  1. 1Answer 5 questions about your home and heating. We confirm which grant you qualify for.
  2. 2We match you with one installer: MCS certification checked at source, review history vetted. Not five firms fighting over your phone number.
  3. 3They handle the grant. Your installer claims the £9,000 voucher on your behalf and it comes straight off your quote.

£9,000 grant: quick answers

How much is the grant?

£9,000 for eligible oil and LPG heated homes (21 July 2026 – 31 March 2027). Homes on mains gas get the standard £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, funded to 2029/30.

Who qualifies for £9,000?

Owners of properties in England or Wales that aren't on the mains gas grid and currently heat with oil or LPG, around 865,000 homes. Final eligibility is confirmed by your installer under Ofgem's scheme rules.

Do I apply myself?

No. The scheme is installer-led. Only an MCS-certified installer can claim the voucher, and it comes straight off your quote. That's why we verify MCS certification before matching you.

What's the catch with "free matching" services?

Most lead sites sell your number to five firms at once. We match you with one verified installer, and we're paid by installers only when the match is genuinely qualified, so wasting your time costs us money.
