Heat pump grant in Tavistock: £9,000 for oil and LPG homes
Tavistock has partial gas coverage, but the moorland villages from Mary Tavy to Princetown heat almost entirely with oil and LPG. From 21 July 2026 the Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £9,000 towards a heat pump for eligible oil and LPG heated homes in the PL19 area, on top of the standard £7,500 for homes on mains gas.
