How it works

Answer five questions about your home and heating. We confirm which grant you qualify for, phone you to check the details, then match you with one MCS-certified installer covering Kingsbridge, never five firms fighting over your number. Your installer claims the voucher on your behalf and it comes straight off the quote. The £9,000 uplift ends 31 March 2027.

Why the grant is bigger for oil and LPG homes

The government's uplift targets the roughly 865,000 homes in England and Wales that are off the mains gas grid, where heating costs are highest and carbon savings from switching are biggest. Much of the South Hams fits that description, which is why the higher amount applies to so many homes around Kingsbridge.
